Joe is now going to close in again on Jamie in live rankings - allowing for Jamie's 2018 ATP finals points coming off next week ( he didn't score any Paris points ) plus Joe's 18th counter to let Paris in.

Initial live ranking points for Paris week:

Jamie : 3885 - ( 600 - 90 ) = 3375
Joe : 3490 - 150 = 3340

So if Joe reaches a round further than Jamie in Paris he will become ranked GB #1. Would be a good accompaniment to reaching the ATP finals, which of course if reached ( which as wolf indicates is extremely likely ) would give him a further chance to add ranking points.

Joe's up one place in today's rankings to 26, Rajeev seven to 9.

CH for Rajeev. Beating his previous 11.

He won the Paris title last year with Marcel Granollers. Taking off these points and Joe's 18th counter, Joe is actually ahead in live rankings.

Joe : 3490 - 150 = 3340

Rajedv : 4310 - 1000 = 3310

Now just need Rajeev to hold station on his 4310 points, which will have Joe slip past him, probably into the top 10. Joe's CH is 19.
