History repeating itself? Now how did that Eddie Jones managed team get on in the final that previous time?  wink

Think he is actually won 1 lost 1.

furious   He's anything but stupid.  I'm sure he'll have learned his lesson from the 2003 final & will ensure that England is properly prepared to take on the Welsh or the 'Boks in the final.

If Wales can do the business tomorrow it would be the first all northern-hemisphere final ever.

New Zealand got Underhilled! Fabulous performance at the line out but Underhill and Curry were everywhere in defence.

Like the NFL if you are brutally destructive in defence and retain the ball for prolonged periods (on offence) in attack you generally win the game.

Underhill the best Linebacker in the NFL? No helmet required.

I would love to see a Wales England final, dont mind too much who wins the final despite being English would probably just prefer Wales where it is not so much a public school game but much more a game of the people, more relevance to the nations identity, Monday would be cancelled and the celebrations would go for weeks/months. The more I think about it the more excited I get!

Good luck to the Welsh tomorrow.

Underhill was my man of the match although Itoje got it officially. Underhill was just immense and is probably up there as player of the tournie.

the way England faced the Haka, not aggressive, not passive, just a confident V for Victory was immense and the smile on Farrell's face told a story.

Although it was an immense lineout, strangely one major mistake at the lineout gave the All Blacks their single chance and try, funny how things go.

I too would like England v Wales, who wouldnt. But Wales being finalists is enough for them, a step up into the final would be great but lets face it, need to support England for the win!

Epic!

Well, I'd prefer South Africa to win.

They played SO much better than Wales in the QFs.

And there's something special about a Northern Hem v Southern Hem final.

Runs and ducks for cover.....

That semi final was awful. There was no attacking flair and just big defence, box kicks and lots of errors.

Absolutely. When ITV said the 'highlights' would be on later, I thought well that's going to be a challenge for the poor edit team - utterly awful.

Amazing performance from England yesterday, and being Scottish it's not often I say that. I would go as far to say team performance of the year. Could have been winners by 20 points.
