On a serious note- it puts paid to any chance Joe has of getting into year end finals. Neal has an outside chance with Michael still but would need to really have a massive run. Henry looks like our only likely qualifier in singles or doubles this year, mens or womens.

Anyone seen any rumours around who Joe may partner next, Ebden aside? Feels like it isnt entirely clear re Neal, Jamie, Julian and Lloyd, and Luke and Marcus as well/ in terms of where any of their pairings may go or end up for next season. Lots up in the air.

Not wholly convinced (I thought Neal was doing well with Venus) but hopefully it comes off.

Be very interesting. They have not always convinced when playing together though certainly have had decent wins. And Leon Smith has clearly much of the time not been convinced either re Davis Cup.

But now of course they will be regularly working together, hopefully ironing out any previous issues and steadily improving their teamwork.

I think Indy sums it up well. The Olympics was unlucky , 10-8 in an MTB to Machac and Pavlasek. But as said, Leon has clearly never been convinced. Not sure what led to the split with Rajeev and then being pulled from the Davis Cup team, maybe Joe needs some time to re gather. It sounds like the pair will start in January and continue current arrangements ( eg Venus for Neal) for rest of this year?

Be interesting to see where Venus goes next - Neal and Venus were doing ok but making headlines. As said in another thread, it feels like all our top 100 players outside Henry and now Joe and Neal, have some decisions to make pairing wise for 2025. Hi
