Peter Polanksy was finding his inner Heather Watson, saving 7 MPs in the tie break (4 in a row), but not enough and loses in straight sets (and forced to 'shake hands'), so Jack should be on soon.
I've never seen O'Connell, and have barely heard of him, so not the best person to make a prediction, but he has been winning his matches convincingly recently as you mentioned earlier, and is on a bit of a streak himself. I don't know when he played his R2 match but with Jack playing Young at 7pm local, and now back on at 2.30pm local the next day, that's a tight turnaround, and the Aussie is the slight betting fave. Throw in a possible come down of playing back to back fairly illustrious US opponents, I'm going to maybe expect the worse, but hope for the best, and I will be tuning in.
