Yes and looks like he is off to Australia after China.

Non-GB but board and general tennis favourite JM Del Potro is entered into Stockholm after his most recent injury layoff.

Will be interested to see if Gabi actually plays in the Antalya W15. She could certainly do with learning how to win a few matches again, and at this point in time 10 pts would be 10pts.

Emilie is also an alt in Spain, and expect that's where she'll end up. For some reason Mandy is down in a host of W15s too, which she certainly doesn't need to be now. If she plays this week I'm sure it will also be Spain.

Am I missing something here, or have the ITF changed their strategy about withdrawal deadlines ?

Just looked at the acceptance lists for several tournaments, all of which have withdrawal deadlines of 14:00 GMT today (Weds 2nd October), and see a few players in more than one tournament. The lists used to be updated within two or three hours of the deadlines.

For example amongst the W15's Alice Gillan appears in two MD and two QD's. Is this a one-off, or have the timings changed ?

Addict, ITF withdrawal deadlines are normally Tuesday, but postponed till Wednesday this week due to the launch of the new IPIN service, so suspect this has affected the updates. Hopefully, back to normality soon.

Thanks. Yes, I noticed the day change - was just surprised that the lists hadn't updated as usual. I didn't know the reason for the day change though.

Dart, Swan, Dunne, Taylor - I count 4 of the fab 5 ( of 2018 ) down for action.

With Boulter possibly just delaying her return until her PR kicks in, we are in danger of soon having them all back together.

Would be at least good if they can head into the close season fit and well and be well prepared for 2020 along with others who have progressed this year.

Boulter only has 2 more weeks for her PR to kick in after 14th so expect her to appear on lists for week 44 assuming that is why she hasn't played and not because she isn't fit. I personally think that with her previous health issues this may actually have been a bit of a gift horse, once she got past Wimbledon and pushing well into her 4th month off another 2 months at this point in the season meant there really was no point not taking the opportunity of allowing her body to rest and gain a PR.

That's 19 of our top 23 ranked men down for action in week 42. 3 of the other 4 are listed for week 41, leaving Andrew Watson who played earlier in this week 40.

Good anticipated attendance with Andy of course back and seeing Jay and Paul listed again.

In general our men have kept rather healthier than our women though as above a few more of them are listed here again.

Emily WS has sneaked onto the China 100K qualifying list.

Katy D has withdrawn from the USA 25K (hard) ( so much for my 4 out of 5 being down for action ) where Sasha Hill is onto the qualifying list. Good to see her and Victoria Allen listed.

Mandy has gone for the Tunisia 15K ( top of the MD entry list ) rather than the Spain 25K qualifying list.

I'm very surprised at this decision of Mandy's. I don't see the point of her stepping down again to a W15 with a maximum haul of 10 points and having to play 5 matches to get those. She's on the cusp of the top 350, win this tournament and it likely won't even move her up 10 places. It's not going to sharpen her competitive edge either.

In fact I suspect what happened is that she forgot to withdraw from this and then got automatically WD from Sevilla, which was listed as her top priority. Wonder if she'll actually play here.
