Seems a bit odd. She was 16th in the qualifying acceptance list, so was in without a WC - and there are 12 byes anyway. So why the QWC I wonder ?

Well that was some way for Sashi to get her first point, with a very quick double bagel in under an hour .
Much tougher match up next against another junior only marginally older than she is.

Looks like Sashi put up a good fight in the first set - recovered from 1-4 to 3-4, but couldn't get hang on.
