Absolutely brilliant, and saved two set points in that tiebreak also. My goodness, I had forgotten how nervy it is to watch his matches biggrin

It's a shame he and Norrie have to meet so early in the tournament as they are both playing so well.

3 players into an ATP 500 last 16 - has that ever happened before?

As for Andy playing Cam, well at least one gets to reach the last 8 and it will be a very interesting test for Cam to see where he is at. Looking forwards to it.

Lovely to see Andy improving with each match at the moment, that's a wonderfully encouraging win. Moves him up to LR 366 too, just 9 points behind Bryden and GB #10. One more win will see him move up to around LR 288, which is James Ward's ranking, who is currently GB #6. It's good to see him moving back up this ladder too.

That's true, but just preferred them both to get to a later stage as they both deserve it I feel.

Quite fancy Dan v Isner, he of course won when they played earlier this year in Delray Beach.

Tennis Abstract rates Dan marginally over Isner, they rate Andy as over 60% likely to beat Cam

If Jamie and Neal manage to win this event, they will have more points as a pairing in the Race than Jamie and Bruno achieved in the first half of the season. I think that will prove a major milestone for the pairing in terms of proving that Jamie made the right call, despite the early teething problems.

That's really big IF!!  But it would of course be wonderful if it happens.

Having watched the end of Cam's match on replay, Garin was in tears during his MTO on his foot.
