Didn't see the first set, but apart from the three double faults while attempting to serve it out, Thiem barely put a foot wrong. At 40-40 when 5-6 down he nicked the line with an ace. He then nicked the line with another serve and also nicked the line with an amazing return to get up in the tiebreak. Andy perhaps a bit too passive letting Thiem hit a few too many confidence building winners, but a very decent effort, all things considered. Would have loved to watch a third set though.
