Well done that young man! I'd have gone to Shrewsbury to watch today but am still on holiday in Brighton, can't have everything I suppose....

Where does this leave Jack with regards to covering his points for the rest of the year?

With a 3rd 25K title in the last couple of months Jack has overall in August to October more than covered the good futures points he earned over this period last year. 70 against 51.

He will now be up to 119 points in 07/10. 26 (6+20) of these 51 points from last year then are due to come off on 14/10 and 21/10 leaving him provisionally on 93 points with nothing further due off this year. And then next year only 23 points in total due off before August.

I wonder now if well back in the groove, these futures points defended, and with relatively few points to defend over the next 10 months, he will be looking to challengers much more now. Indeed I see that the entries section shows him down for a US Challenger from 07/10.

Well done Jack. It was over, done and dusted, by the time I tuned in. Wish I'd have gone over to Shrewsbury to watch. Hopefully we'll see him at Nottingham next year.

Yes, about 340, though ahead of Evan when these points add on 07/10 since Evan has 12 points due off next week.

Jack's guaranteed minimum 93 end of year points would probably still be top 400.
