She was born and grew up in Bournemouth and was a member of the Academy. She had extended family in Sioux Falls and knowing she wanted to play college tennis, her father, who coached her, suggested she move there and get a head start. She has dominated the local high school tennis scene, and had a 107-0 record in flight 1 singles until she had to retire from her last match when a previous knee injury reoccurred. She appears to go by Danielle or Dani
