As someone (Indy?) rightly calculated, as of today Eden is our number 2 in doubles.

She's +5 to 143, whilst Naomi has dropped to 15 to 146.

That's quite an achievement, happy for her

What with her success in doubles, plus the mixed dubs at Wimbly which doesn't even count for the ranking, it's super.

(Now, if only she could just boost that singles slightly to help out my end-of-year predictions.....)

Eden is right in there with Sarah Beth in that they will both never be more than circa 400 ranked singles players so should concentrate on doubles.

There was a lot of talk on Twitter on TF about Ka Pliskova just playing doubles here, and I saw they were on Centre Court this morning at the expense of a (lower end) single's match, but didn;t realise they were playing Eden.
