Good start for Jack, a break up........

Jack comes from 4-2* down in the breaker to win 5 of the next 6 points. First set in the bag.

Just a shame the camera angle is wrong. All I can see of the player at the top end of the court is their feet.

If you go on the Youtube stream, you get far more sophisticated camerawork.

Nah. Vandy doesn't have that power. smile

Just a wrong prediction, bold or not. It happens......

Ah, pity re Jack.

Next Monday will see him drop the first 10 of 46 points from 4 counters ( of his current 119 points total ) due to drop off in the next month or so.

Week to week rankings defences are no great priority, particularly, at his age, but be good if he can recover these points over the rest of the year along with some encouraging performances

It's the interesting thing about sport in general and tennis in particular.

Mark Whitehouse might have a brain the size of a planet (Imperial college, masters, 'n' all that) but he doesn't half tighten up just at key moments, much as he must 'know' that that's precisely what not to do, and what his opponent is relying on....

Lost the first set 5-7

I see that all 5 of our remaining singles players are on Centre tomorrow along with (1) Jaziri and concluding with Scott & Lloyd's doubles.

As expected, some good results and some results that make me feel humiliated to be British.
