Also have been told Dukes Meadows at Chiswick has a reasonable group of performance players but don't know how accurate that information is.  Neil Bamford is head of tennis there.

 My understanding is that is young players . Maybe up to 14max. Could be totally wrong just what I heard

Whereabouts are you, might be better to look for a club with an exceptionally strong mens team. Not surprised to hear about Suttons demise, my son was there years ago and although it was thriving I never felt it was particularly professional and was quite obviously focussed on squeezing every penny it could out of the parents.

 I've had a look and Sutton Tennis and Squash Club is Div 1 and tops the tables, I was going to suggest there or Westside in Wimbledon
