I didn't see any of the match, but that looks a solid win. Friedsam was the slight betting favourite coming into this and has beaten a few top 50 players since her come back from long term injury. It's a little bit sad as she's just 27 so should be in her prime and she is a long way off her best, but at the moment, I think Hev getting back into the top 100, establishing herself there, and making sure she is a DA into all the slams should be her main priority, at least in the short term, and wins like this will help with that.
Ouch - when you have players like the infamous Rosalyn Small in the 2nd round (as a LL with a bye), it feels rather unfair that Heather has to face Friedsam.

Who is Rosalyn Small?
I hadn't heard of her either, but here's an article. She lost here in 33 mins
Have looked up Rosalyn Small's record on match stat and you wonder how she was allowed into this tournament. Seems well below the required standard. Bit like a hacker who goes round in 250 being allowed to play in golf tournaments.

Including losing a bagel set to 69 year old Gail Falkenberg
