Apart from the US Open build up there are three Grade 2s this week, and Toby Samuel plus Luka Petrovic have entered here.

Good win for Luka but Toby came a cropper, albeit against someone with an ATP ranking. To complete a miserable day for Toby he and his doubles partner were seeded but won no more games than in his singles

Luka got a good win, over the wildcard who put out the 6th seed.

A QF in a grade 2 event is a big step up for him - all his other counters are G4 and G5s.
