And she's got the second set.

Which, based on just how the scoring's gone, she deserved.

Now a third-set shoot out.

So nice to see Emily Arb doing well, a real duracell bunny player.

Also a real nice person to talk to

Yes good luck to Emily today, and hope she is still feeling good after her exertions yesterday. She's certainly doing her ranking no harm at the moment, is back up to LR 976 (and 12 pts), a rise so far of 215 places on her current ranking.

We all know that is a false ranking. She is still at college and missed some of the season competing at the World Uni champs.

Yes, she already has a CH 551, so she's still some way off that.

I was thinking that her match against against the top seed gave a reasonable indication of where her ranking might be if she were playing full time on the circuit. She beat a player ranked 557 in quite a close match, which suggests her level would probably be somewhere around 500 to 550. Interesting to see that that's so close to her CH.

Well done to Emily and Ali as Emily had a 2.42 match earlier. Must have been hard on Ali carrying her about the court wink
