No idea, but he was 27th on the original alternates list.  That's what made me take a closer look at the main draw, especially when I saw that Sibille was in as an alternate & nowhere in sight on the list.

I've just logged into the livestream for Andy's match and the picture is totally unwatchable. Anyone else managed to get decent pictures?

Agree it's not great, but as I can't access the US Open, it's the only live option I have, so I'm going to watch it!

Andy serves up a tennis lesson to the young French pretender:

L48:  (WC) Andy Murray WR 328 defeated (ALT) Imran Sibille (FRA) UNR by 0 & 1

The lad lasted for a shade under 43 minutes.  Crushed!  Nice little work-out.  wink  Three aces, no double faults, 95% of first service points won.

Hey but that's so far 3 whole ranking points added back 

Great to have him back now single minded on singles and hope it was an interesting and good experience for the French youngster.
