Not ideal being a tennis fan these days without subscribing to Amazon, especially from January when they also add the WTA rights to their portfolio in addition to the US Open and ATP. The likes of Bet365 are showing all the USO matches that Amazon are showing, no commentating on the Rybakina Q match, unlike Amazon which has 2 of them, but then there might be principles involved there too? There's always the likes of Joker Live Stream as well, but you're risking virus' there.
Thanks Ace. Do you know if you get any commentary on Bet365. Just about the lesser of 2 evils. I'll stay clear of Joker Live Stream.
Yes bad news re WTA in January. I'm guessing the WTA's own stream will be provided by Amazon.

You used to always get commentary on Bet365 as it used to be ideal at work - I used to stick the WTA matches on in the background and listen to it when doing admin tasks, but the last month or so, it has stopped. I queried it and they just said they just get what they are given from a 3rd party and have no say, as I was debating getting WTA TV if it was a permanent thing. So not sure if it's just temporary or the norm going forward, but I much prefer watching tennis with comms, I know some on here don't mind, and some actually prefer no comms - but just about every sport I watch - football, darts, boxing etc. always have it, and it just seems weird without it, and is the big difference between the big glamour league of the WTA, slams etc. and the ITF scene that most with ambition will be looking to leave behind.
As for Amazon, I'm not sure what their intentions are. I do know that from January you can't buy WTA TV in the UK anymore. I do have Prime myself and it would be nice if they had a Catherine Whittaker and Rusedski types in a studio for some of the bigger events with match choice as opposed to BT Sport with their in and out, centre court or Brit approach. I'll be interested to see what happens.
I'm rambling on here, but Bet365 is a decent enough alternative IMO - you can put it to full screen and the quality is good enough for me, and you can easily switch between matches, which takes much longer with Amazon, and it is actually fully live, rather than 2-3 points behind which can be the case with Prime. They have pretty much all the WTA and ITF matches that they can, so I'd definitely consider setting up an account, putting a fiver or so in, not actually bet, and just use it as a not amazing, but certainly half decent streaming service.

The Aussie girls have five victories out of five so far today
Really pleased for them - a great group, real solidarity.
Yep, Hon added a 5th win after my post on the previous page. Just wish our landscape was comparable.
Raining now, it was mean to come around 7pm NY time, hope that's not it for the day, I was looking forward to some late night viewing.
Edit - Ah, they're back warming up . Think I'll watch Badosa-Liang, to see if the Spaniard can continue her good recent form. Aiava will be looking to make it 6 from 6 for the Aussies later on (on a streamed court).

We can watch every Brit tomorrow, 4 of them are on the same court and follow on from each other.
Court 4 Harriet 2nd on
Court 7 Katie S Jay Heather Wardy Then an external men's match.
So from this forum's perspective, depending on how the matches go, we could get to see Katie-Harriet-Heather all in succession.
Good stuff.

You missed bains, albeit she lost in 2 sets
That's because she played today Jon, not tomorrow (although technically yesterday as we're past mid-night), and she was already out long since by the time that post was made.
