I was hoping Harriet could take that set. Can't stay up any longer. Only watching scores. Hope she can do this! Come on Harriet!!

Delighted to see Mariam win her final round match 6-4. Great achievement.

Wang knocking on the door of a break. I feel she's going to need to start making more errors for us to get some joy.

Kalinskaya drops her first set and she is ranked ahead of Harriet, but Townsend is on the verge of winning.

I presume you get more points by actually qualifying than getting through as a Lucky Loser ?

Misses 4 game points. Saves two break points. Misses two more game points. Holds

2-2*

She's still in this, just.

And court 7 looks packed, great to see.

So at the moment it's 4 ahead of her and Gibbs and Kalinskaya are both sets down and in line to take the final 2 LL spots as it stands. Come on Harriet, still in your hands here.

Just 10 extra, 40 instead of 30, but if Harriet got a LL and lost in R1, she'd just pick up circa £25k instead of the usual £50k.

Yes, a LL gets the 30 FQR points as opposed to 40 qualifying points.

Then each adds any MD win points. Neither get the 10 points for direct entrant MD R1 losers.

Could be the turning point right there. 30-30 sounds a lot better than 15-40. Big moment here.

Stunning drop shot to save a second break point and she's hanging on by her fingernails.

3-3*

Great match
