Lost count of the deuces, but Harriet took her 8th break point

Great start, I'm impressed.

*4-1. A fair few errors from Wang at the moment, but with that power she will always be dangerous, so still a hell a lot to do, but hopefully she'll be able to at least take this first set from this position.

A quick hold and a 2nd break for 4-1

Huge hold from Harriet. She's playing very well. Some super points and tennis from both

Held from *0-40 to lead 5-1*.

Larsson has surprisingly taken the first set off Flipkens and Townsend is also 2-5 down, so if those results went that way then the LL spot would be over for now as there would be 5 ranked ahead of Harriet who lost in the FQR, but if she can keep this up then she doesn't need worry about that.

Still SP, but a couple have come and gone 40-30*

Wang does a Dart and holds from 0-40, so Harriet will have to try and serve it out.

Wang looking flustered and goes down 0-40 at 5-1* with big, big errors.

Sorts herself to save two. Harriet goes wide down the line on the third.

*5-2

Excellent set. Not as comfortable as it sounds, but won 6 of the last 7 games to take it 6-2. Hopefully she can keep it up.

Not as easy as the scoreline shows. 2/12 break points taken, 8/8 break points saved.
90 points is a lot for just 8 games !

On another note I hadn't realised Larsson was so low ranked now

Yeah she sank like a stone once her WTA Nuremburg points were off, but I think she started to climb a bit in recent weeks.

Get in. First break of the second set. *3-2.

If I'm Wang's coaching team I'd be homing in on that serve. She could do much better with it, doesn't get any real lift through the motion, barely pushes up with her right leg at all.

*3-2

A poor game from Harriet with two doubles to be broken back.

3-3*

Another long game, Harriet takes her third break point

*4-3

Larsson won, so that's Flipkens, Badosa, Hon, Lepchenko/Babos definitely above her. Townsend is a set down and Gibbs is favourite to lose, so while it always was, this match is even more imperative now.

Final push Harriet...
