Here are the QR1 draws, as originally indicated by Andy. I've left out any H2Hs for the time being. They are mostly favourable, few complaints here...

QR1: Naiktha BAINS (GBR) 235 vs Jana CEPELOVA (SVK) 158 (CH:50 May 14)
QR1: Harriet DART (GBR) [q29] 144 vs Jamie LOEB (USA) 278 (CH:132 Feb 18)
QR1: Katie SWAN (GBR) 230 vs Katrina SCOTT (USA) 1049 (CH:1040 Aug 19) 15yrs (JCH:65 July 19)

Wow, those are quite fantastic draws (and I'm a pessimist!)

I think Harriet is also a seed from what I've seen elsewhere.
Good draws though.
Going for 3/4 to get through Q1

Great news that Prime have the qualies (I didn't know so a nice surprise), and great for Hev that she starts on Tuesday, although would be a bit ridiculous if she didn't.

Think I read there were 5 streamed courts, so chances are we might not get to see all (or even half) the GB players, but a lot better than Wimbledon's one stream, and with the WTA Bronx field getting decimated, I'll be pretty much fully focused on the quals next week.

Looks like they are using 14 courts for qualifying first round, so it'll be pot luck which GB matches are streamed

Harriet is Q29

Heather has quite a tricky section I thought

Nice draw for Heather - I fancy her to qualify outright from her section looking at the other players involved; tougher for the others though I think, though I wouldn't rule out Harriet either - her first round against Jamie Loeb looks tough to call and probably three sets I'd have thought

Begu (likely second round opponent) looks a tough one for Naiktha, if she gets through Round One (I know she will be underdog there too), and lots of good players in Katie's part of the draw, not least Kalinskaya, though her career high was a full 2 years ago, when she was just 18, so she hasn't yet built on that - there were a lot of Russians predicting really big things for her when she first turned pro. She qualified for Wimbledon this year, too, but was beaten in straight sets by Linette in round one, a match which I was lucky enough to see a little of.

How good is Katrina Scott? I guess Scott must be good to be here at 15 years old, but does anyone know anything more. I am really hoping for a good run for Katie S this year, as I think it would really help her self-belief and confidence; hopefully she will have too much experience for Scott.

It's a few years ago now but Cepelova beat Muguruza at Wimbledon in 2016 the year after Muguruza had been runner up at Wimbledon. Prior to that in 2014 she had a win at Charleston over Serena Williams.

The good news though is that it is a few years and I don't think she is playing quite as well now, for whatever reason.

It looks like Naiktha IS on one of the streamed courts tomorrow. Cepelova's ranking fluctuation is pretty weird. As pointed out in the first post, her CH high has been much higher, but she was also as low as 273 last October and 250 just a few months ago in April, but without any real notable period of absence (a 4/5 week break here and there, but nothing obvious) - she must just blow hot and cold and not be able to defend big points at certain times. Can't see much joy for Naiktha, but I'd probably be saying the same for at least 90% of the Q field, but good luck to her, would be great if she could get a win or two here.

Two are playing Americans so that, presumably, increases the chances for those two matches
