Wowzers! The draw is so weak compared to Atlanta! Is it like that every year here?! At Atlanta the last direct acceptance for QUALIFYING was 153 here for the main draw its 249! And 374 for qualifying - all the British top 11 could play here based on live rankings!

It's because with US Open qualifing next week anyone ranked 105-250 is not going to play here.

Sorry, but Eastern Daylight Time is five hours behind BST, so it will be midnight our time .

 I see Liam was down as an alt on the Qualifying list before he withdrew, would have ended up seeded in the end. Dont understand why players of that ranking dont play the 250s the week before the slams. Its probably the only 4 weeks youll get into a 250 Qualifying event and with those that are playing the slam likely to pull out at any sight of a niggle then it could be a great opportunity to boost the ranking.
