Yeah she needs a couple of big scorers now really. I see she's withdrawn from the alternates of Vancouver. I wonder if she's going to the $60k in Concord with Namigata instead.

Unfortunate that, so close for Em and Junri. They were 8-7 up in the MTB too.

If you mean win matches at ITF Level then ok but I just think that when she was ranked in the 70's the ranking flattered her. As I have said before she has never been somebody I have particularly rated - a nice enough girl maybe - but not someone I have particularly rated as a player. Wouldn't be surprised if she retired at the end of the year as I can't see her ever making the top 100 again - not that should necessarily be a reason to retire. Credit to her if she can prove me wrong.

Sorry for the time it's taken to reply. Naomi could move up 150-250 places from her current ranking of 384 (which is hardly flattering) if she could even find a modicum of form. She has 4 1 pointers and 2 2 pointers and a lot of 8 pointers. Only 3 scores in double figures - 1 of which (US open) comes off in Sept. She's covered her points in sigles and doubles in June-Aug.

Thinking she should play down to 25k - but a good week next week would prove me wrong.
