Wonderful to see Sam get past Gramm very easily this year after her loss this time last. Sam is now +11 pts on her scoring in this tournament last year, so finally will get a rise in the rankings week after next, once these points are added. The big prize still to come - and even if they haven't played for a while, Sam is 2-0 up in her H2H with Kerkhove.

Indeed 3rd 25K title in the last month for Beth in a run of successive wins ( ignoring a R1 withdrawal in Portugal ) with Eden and now this week.

Should take out her CH 153 with these last 2 weeks' titles and overall net 60 ranking points addition. Looks like being inside the top 150 on Monday week.

Nothing then to defend until November although her lowest counter is now up to 18 points.

There are two further interesting outcomes from Sam's result today... the first that these extra 20 pts will take her up to 175 pts and the cusp of the top 300. And the second is that will be good enough to lift her all the way to GB #9 displacing both Fran and Katy D, who will drop out of the top 10. How many people have Sam in their top 10 for this year?
