The addict put up great posts about the Sutton Premier Tour event which, as always, involves a lot of our top players. For those who use this thread as a means to see who's playing what this week, I hope the addict doesn't mind my copying and pasting it here too:

The entry list for next weeks Premier event at Sutton is out. The event offers enhanced prize money - £2000 for the winner, plus wild cards as follows:-

"The winner of both singles events (if recognised by the ITF as playing under GBR) will be offered a wild card into the British Tour Masters 2019, plus players who play under GBR a wild card link to main draw GB Pro Series Roehampton-women 16 September & Shrewsbury-men 23 September
(Runner's up to qualifying of these $25k events)"

The top 8 female players are:-

1 Alicia Barnett
2 Freya Christie
3 Joanna Garland
4 Alice Gillan
5 Tanysha Dissanayake
6 Andre Lukosiute
7 Holly Hutchinson
8 Amelia Rajecki

The top 8 male players are:-

1 Luke Johnson
2 George Loffhagen
3 Alexis Canter
4 George Houghton
5 Patrick Foley
6 Michael Shaw
7 Alexander Jhun
8 Sean Hodkin

Just to note that from the original list, apart from the US W60 withdrawals, Fran has also withdrawn from Ecuador (she retired last week), but otherwise the MD entries listed are still all there - Vancouver, Germany, Mexico, Kenya.

Beth Grey is taking part in the tournament at Sutton, and is top seed. Alice Gillan isn't there after all.
Freya and Alicia have teamed up for the doubles, and ALicia is also playing mixed doubles.
