So we have a 25k, with three Brits in the SFs and an all GB doubles final. Wouldn't it be great if we had a few more home tournaments as opposed to the paltry number we have now. Just 7 home ITF tournaments in an entire season and not a single 15k.

Perhaps with the new points system (or the reinstatement of the old system) may make a difference, but given what has been the case for the last few years, I am not holding my breath.

How many points does he earn for that win and what will his likely ranking then be?
I was there watching, he certainly upped his game after being too defensive first set.

As other kindly informed me earlier in the thread.

25ks 1, 3, 6, 12, 20

15ks 1, 2, 4, 6, 10

So that's 20 points for Jack.  Where that puts him, I have no idea. Sorry.

Edit

Hope you enjoyed being there live.  Not like I am jealous or anything wink

So hes on 11, 20 takes him to 31 which places him around 423 in the live rankings.

One point to note.  These 20 points will not go on until Monday week, being an ITF event.

It's the spanky new ATP rankings on Monday with 25Ks and 15Ks restored for all MD wins and retrospectively given the above points structure.

OER has Jack as 05/08 live WR 430 on 74 points.

Assuming that's right then on 12/08 he will be on :

74 - 1 + 20 = 93 points, which should have him around the 370s in the rankings. That will be a CH, his existing ATP CH is 420.
