Unlike the girls in Woking, the lads are having a decent day so far.

Wins from qualifiers, Marcus and Ali.

Very good efforts from Harry, and also George H, against top seeds.

Solid win from Mark W. All-GB match wins too (obviously).

The bottom half of the draw is now 100% Brit - which is nice

Also, worth noting what a good run the college boys are having - really proving their worth. Some super results from them, with Charlie Broom beating Aidan, for instance, and the run of Alistair Gray. And Dan Little too. Not to mention Paul Jubb.

And congrats to the LTA for their initiative to have the recent British Tour Premier Tour event as a quali event. It;s worked a dream.

Marcus Walters came through qualis and won his R1 match (and is one set all v Jack Draper in R2)

Clay Crawford who was straight into the MD also won his R1 match, and has yet to play his second.

Some cracking results today although its tough to keep up with intermittent internet connection while on a train from Alicante to Barcelona. Particularly pleased for Ali Gray. If anyone is on site, please tell him Bob says well done and Go Frogs.
