Emilie seems to have recently started using instagram as Emilie.Lindh.Gallagher but minimal posts so far and info to be gleaned. She has the French/GB/Norway flag on it.
Good sleuthing
The Norway bit makes sense.
I checked the French domestic system and she played one money tournament last year but the draw was very stretched out so she beat one player with a British Tour style ranking, and lost then to Lou Brouleau, who's obviously a very decent player and top 500 WTA. So it's not particularly helpful.
Yes, Lindh is a Scandinavian name. There is a Swedish (male) ice hockey player with the same name (Emilie Lindh). Gallagher is of course Scottish in origin.
Yes, I couldn't see your Spanish parentage bit there.....although everything's possible
The French flag bit is interesting - I can't see any link to any club in France (she's listed as a foreign player for the money tournament from last year, and one little thing the year before)
The 'Emilie Lindh' ice hockey player is a girl, though, according to the eurohockey site:

So even if 'Emilie' is how the French spell Emily, it's more likely that she's Emilie because that's how the Norwegians spell it too.
And tx, Red Squirrel.
Do you think Emilie is impressed that there's so much interest???? Or just thinks: get a life, folks !
Well, I hope she's encouraged by how we've been backing her for some time . .. starting with last year when she was struggling to get her WTA 3rd counter but couldn't easily get into 15k tournaments without a national ranking.
So far this year she is comfortably a few more steps up the ladder and when she regains her WTA ranking will be around 750 (or higher depending on her results later this week), with her existing CH 907.
The French side may be maternal grandparents on the side of one of her parents. But yes, the get a life is probably true too
Yeah, some fair points there CD, I certainly haven't seen her play and even if you do an 'Emilie Lindh' search in Google images, or add Gallagher, then barely anything comes up.
She does have a Facebook page with a few images, but no video.

But confirms she is tall. Well good luck to Emilie in her SF tomorrow!
Ironically the other SF was decided by an even earlier retirement after again a very equal match to that point. Maybe that carpet surface is not helping...
