Yes, somehow after looking like she was cruising in the first set, the second set was much tighter and Mandy couldn't hold her serve. She kept having to break back to stay in the set. In the TB she was 5-2 up, and then lost 4 points in a row.

Third set Mandy has at least managed to start with a break and a hold, but had 2 BPs against her in the game she held. 6-2 6-7(7) 2-0*

Mandy gets there in the 3rd set more easily. Another 5 pts in the bag

Potentially the 2nd seed up next for further points though.

Mandy's potential opponents tomorrow have been given the last slot on the OOP, after 9 pm on the Centre Court, and 2 matches after Mandy plays her doubles match there too. I would think Mandy would be quite happy with her opponent having to play a latish match tonight. Very late for an ITF match, when at this point in the draw there is a game every day.

Soumeya and partner took the first set, but just missed two break points at 4-3* in the second, and have been broken and three double faults back to back
