This is Camille's first MD reached, and thus when the transition tour is folded up again next month and all the points return to the WTA tour, this will be her first actual WTA counter gained. Two good wins for her today, and the better result in the FQR too. Has a good first round draw so a chance of another point on Wed after a day's rest tomorrow.
Surely it will only be a WTA point if she actually wins her R1 match? There never used to be a point just for qualifying. Or have things changed?
Yes you're correct CD she does need a MD win at W15 for it to be a counter. The transition system is clouding my mind, since under that system this is the second point she now gets, 1 for each of her wins.
