Sorry to spam the thread but Im not at work today. Heathers forehand is tighter than my wallet on a night out in London and the serving display is triggering my PTSD from Elena Dementieva circa 2005. This is Heathers 10th(?) year here though, why is so still SO nervous after an hour? Anyways McNally has had two set points and served for the set twice but we are into a tiebreak. Uh, the drama of it all

It's because she knows that even against a 17-year-old she has to hit almost ever single shot perfectly to prevent them outhitting her which puts a massive amount of pressure on any player which is always going to make them tight. It's a one reason why Serena wins so many games, the power she can hit balls with and the way she covers the court see's her opponents have to play perfectly which makes them tight and causes unforced errors even though its not uncommon for Serenas balls to be somewhat midcourt so in theory could be attacked.
Hopefully getting the set will see Mcnally get even tighter due to inexperience and Heather relaxes as that should get her through this round

Every time I see Heather these days she looks desperately short on talent and/or confidence. Seems like the best outcome for her in every match nowadays is a humiliating occasion for both players where the momentum swings so often it has to be seen to be believed, and no game, set or match can be regarded as a safe bet until it finally draws to its wince-inducing conclusion.

As well as some decent prizemoney, Heather shoots up to live ranked 102 with that win, computer ignores the detail of how it is achieved and just spits out what looks like a really attractive outcome!
