Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon (grass) - singles

Fortunately, some of the matches aren't on until later. I was just working out who was on when and saw this on twitter (which sort of tallied with my own estimates)
Expected times:
11am J. Ward
11am H. Dart
11am Dan Evans
12.30pm C. Norrie
1.30pm K. Swan
2.30pm Johanna Konta
3pm J. Clarke
4.30pm P. Jubb

I find John Inverdale as a commentator to be an interesting choice, I may even prefer Andrew Castle, the horror of it all.

Impressed by Wardy winning that set, well done.

Dan looks comfortable although only the one break in it so far.

Evans and Ward wrap up their second sets at basically the same time. Whew, the talent

Way to go lads.
Evo certainly got the maximum suspense out of that tiebreak

Jesus Delbonis is way better than I expected on this surface, Moving forward well too. Not sure Dan's slices are going through the court as much as they normally would on a normal grass court

Come out of a meeting pleasantly surprised, looking likely to have 1 guaranteed int the 3rd round

Yes he's awful. At least Harriet's playing as well, so I can legitimately change channel to avoid him. No one has ever told him that when there's nothing interesting to say, shut up! The worst is when Inverdale and John Lloyd are on together. It manages to be stolid and wittering at the same time.
