A Brit finally downs a seed rather than the other way round!  Quite a battle in the ninth game of the third set, but he couldn't quite put it away.  Lost count of the number of match points he held before he finally converted one!  Cilic or Sousa in the last 32...

The Portu-goose wins the battle of the 30-year-olds in straight sets (4, 4 & 4), so:

L32:  Joćo Sousa (POR) WR 69 vs Daniel Evans WR 61

Excellent, well done Dan and Sousa is tough but beatable - drawing him at last 32 stage is probably something Dan would have been happy with before the event.

Didnt see Jay or Cam but neither a surprise although would have liked to see Cam avoid a love set.

If Jay keeps that level of play up he should move nicely up the rankings.

I saw him play on Tuesday against Rubin and he looked far more agressive than normal which can only be a good thing.

Dan up to 52 on live rankings, on 942 points just 8 points behind Cam at LR51.

Great match from Dan against a tough opponent. Only saw glimpses of Cam and Jay, but no surprises there.

Dan seems to have timed his development to peak performance well for Wimbledon. Would love him to get through at least one more round. Rooting for him.

Wonderful performance by Dan Evans .

He plays a really interesting game , great to watch .

As an aside thank heavens Isner is out, horrible to watch and a Trump supporter , good riddance !

Rafa is winning the battle of the mind games with Kyrgios atm. From the moment they stepped on the court, Rafa slowed down going onto the court and is persistently not ready to receive. Kyrgios is playing into Rafa's hands by letting it get to him. Rafa takes first set pretty easily.

I mean did anyone expect the Rafa match to be anything like the hype it's received? Not. A. Chance Rafa loses here.

Hilarious! And Kyrgios has got a point. Rafa sometimes does get the benefit of the doubt in situations where other people wouldn't.
