Indeed the WRs 4, 5 & 6 ( Anderson seeded 4 but WR 8 ).

Federer WR 3 now onto live 6305 points. Nishikori WR 7 would still only be on 5680 points even if he won Wimbledon. No-one else could get to over 4800 points

Noah played an awful game to get broken. And Jay just played a really good one to back it up.

Allez.....

Good to see Ilkley winner Koepfer go through, with RU Novak to play later. I will follow both with interest

Well done Jay and Cam and earlier on Dan! Jay's first GS MD win? Shane about Ward though, think he had his chances when I looked at the score earlier. Still, nice payday.

That win is almost certainly going to give Jay a CH BTW. He is currently LR 151 and he has a CH 158.

Completely agree, Nix. And agree he has a tendency to do so, too.

Hopefully finally getting that set will help

It did CD. So much better in the last couple of sets. Woopee!

What a lovely family he has. They're all so thrilled for him. Now we need Jubb to be inspired!

What a chance for Jay! And he can chat to his old mate Marcus WIllis for some inside info!

It's like a right of passage that Fed has to play a Brit at Wimbledon...(& not just Andy!)

and a new career high ranking for Jay should come from that win as well as £72k. Indeed 7 Brits have won £72k each these past 2 days, plus the 2 losers getting £45k, so around £600k earnt. Not bad really.
