Shame for Emma, first set was very close, but second got away, probably less errors from Liang in the 2nd being the main difference between the sets.

Naiktha struggling. 5 games in a row for Lao and Naiktha not past 30 in any of them. 4-6 *0-4.

Hopefully 1 from Fran and Maia and then 3 would be a decent return, if it does end that way.

Naiktha lost 4 and 2, so not a great grass return for her with just the one win and 4 straight sets defeats. I assume it'll be the US / Canadian ITFs for her next to see if she can keep her ranking just about high enough for US Open quals?
