While we have the G1 home event in Nottingham, we also have a G5 'home' event in Belfast.

In the girls, in particular, we have two of our best youngsters as 2nd and 3rd seeds: Andrea Pineda & Hannah Smith, both born 2004

As well as 6 others now in the MD.

In the boys, we have 9 in the MD, including Matt Rutter [3] and Charlie Miller [5]

Seems a big silly to have this event this week.

Would make much more sense to have it after Wimbledon.

Maybe, though I guess this has been arranged by the Irish tennis authorities since I think they take in Northern Ireland as well.

No, it was Alicia Dudeney. It is Amy's first ITF title but she was in the final of one of the Nottingham weeks this year. She has a good, powerful game so well done to her on her first junior ITF title!
