Jack didnt really ever get going. He was a bit distracted by line calls and struggled to find the lines. The greater experience of his opponent showed, I think.
Thats going to be tough for Ryan to take. A decent showing we all know but I doubt he'll be taking comfort from that until he's slept on it a few times
Lovely day of tennis down at Roehampton - unless your main aim is to see GB players win and/or play well. In which case, you might as well have stayed in bed.
Well done to Liam.
Evan ought to be furious with himself - there is no real positive to take from that match - it was an important match that he should have won and he blew it. End of.
Jack started poorly and was always playing catch up - again a big opportunity missed, to perform well and give yourself a chance.
But he's a lot younger and so there's more leeway. Unlike Evan. Or indeed Mark - very similar story.
Jan spend most of his time moaning about the court. Aidan played a super first set, got a little unlucky on some umpiring call. And then was nowhere in the second set.
