Next prospect.

I posted this in the ladies section of the forum too.

I only watch tour tennis so only really know of Dan Evans and Kyle Edmund (who I thought was going to kick on this year) on the British side but do know that Jack Draper and Jay Clarke could become top players so, again, I'd appreciate it if someone could list the other prospects (McHugh, Matusevic??) and their strengths so that I can follow their progress :).

Hmm, good prospects are good prospects no matter the particular ranking arrangements and figures.

But as I said in the women's equivalent pretty tough to put together and net net you are up for the night given your thoughts there

I'm a little surprised there isn't more of a discussion going on this post. From a distance (meaning with a hectic life I'm not following British tennis as closely as I used to) it seems like there is somewhat of a lack of talent coming through. Past experience has taught me to be skeptical of a young prospect that shows the odd good result followed by months of producing very little. On paper (and for me that's all it is right now) Jack Draper seems like a real prospect, and someone who should at least make the top 100 in the future. Beyond that, it is hard to say. Jay Clarke seems to have plateaued, and for me, Kyle Edmund has largely reached his potential by becoming a 20-50 ranked player. I am rooting for Jubb to breakthrough, but with such little activity to this point, it is hard to say.
