 Now, that should be fun!

And the winner has a possible match up with Evo in the QF.  Happy days.

It would be interesting to see Mr Evans play Mr Edmund. A couple. of years ago Mr Edmund was in the ascendancy, but today I'm not so sure.

The surface wold suit Evo's game style as well. No disrespect to Cam in his match up with Kyle, but I am going to be cheering for Kyle on this one.  He needs some wins and some confidence.

We could call the person who gets through of the three of them (and no disrespect to whoever meets Dan next) the British Champion on Grass! Kyle v Cam is a catchweight match to face off with the Middleweight Champion of Britain!

Any match with Dan v Cam or Kyle would also be for a place in the semis, so big points riding on it if it happens

It would be nice if Kyle's knee isn't going to give out on him if he beats Cam like what happened in RG.

L16:  (WC) Daniel Evans WR 63 (CH = 41 in March 2107) vs Pierre-Hugues Herbert (FRA) WR 43 (CH = 36 in Feb)

PHH might be a bit tired after defeating LL Kudla in 3 sets in 2hrs 49

Herbert beat Dan 2 and 0 in 2012, we can discount that last match up i think!

Tennis Abstract rate Dan as favourite to reach the final here against Sam Querrey. Will be interesting to see if that pans out

Querry - really!? That surprises me. Mind you, I want our men to do well but not be too tired for Wimbledon next week.

PHH vs Dan is an interesting match up, PHH plays well on grass too.

If Norrie can't deal with Edmund's dodgy grass court game, he's not worth his salt even if his own game isn't that well suited to the surface. Evans would predictably smash either of them if he makes it.
