Week 25 - Wimbledon Womens Wild Card Playoffs

As far as I know, the only available scores will be the ones posted as the matches finish on the LTA website (link at the top of this thread). It seems to be the best that the LTA can do !

I'll be keeping an eye on twitter though, in case any results escape the confines of Aorangie Park !

We don't have anyone breaking in this year do we?

Ok, then, well good luck then to all the participants attending this secret event!

I seem to remember this problem last year - one of the most interesting competitions of the year and no live scores anywhere. Ridiculous. You could actually get TV coverage on some obscure channel like Quest; I think there would be quite a few interested in watching.

Is there any actual TV coverage of the Wimbledon Qualies this year?

Our intrepid intruder from a couple of years ago did confirm that they actually do play tennis matches. They might be in on it though ...

There is supposed to be live coverage of the show court only on wimbledon.com

Bloody hell Emily. Wow.

Not that it will count for much in that section which is tough, but I'm sure it felt good to get over the line.

Emily has been playing well recently, and likes playing on the grass. Freya is - well you know - inconsistent ?

That's surely not really much of a shock on form. All the best though to Freya going forward given what she has been through supporting her boyfriend. Now that he is in remission I hope that she can now begin to steadily rebuild her game and that good times come to both of them. All you lost there was a tennis match, Freya.

Tara must have beaten Lissey, as Lissey has a QWC in Eastbourne along with Freya.

Freya has Yastrema (1) and Lissey has Diyas (12) so they won't get much change from their trip.

Young Sonay took Sam to three sets. Good effort
