Emilie could be GBR #24 out of 33 on 05/08. A few retirements and walkovers (not all down to her). She has been playing a lot recently. Hope it;s a minor niggle and that she is OK.

Strange to give a walkover after having won the first match so comfortably, without even trying to play the next one.
Of course, we tend to think of player injuries.
But there's also a reasonable chance it's family matters, the death of a grandparent or something.
(No doom and gloom intended to the Lindh family but just saying that there are other things, asides from injuries, that can cause withdrawals).
