Jamie to me is the weak link watching this. Either way peers and kontinen are a step ahead , more power , more variation.

I agree - and I've been thinking Jamie has been the weak link for a while re: his results with Bruno. Didn't help with the knee injury he had for a large part of a year though.

His returns are sitting up to volley and his serves lacking any real bite or swerve for a lefty.

The match is available on the BBC web site.  smile  Decent crowd despite the fact that it's coming up to 8!

First set wrapped up by 6-4 in 28 minutes.  smile

Thanks for the tip-off about the Red Button, addict.  Far better way to watch than on a laptop!  smile

There was some comment by Andy this week that he might be interested in playing with Jamie in the Davis Cup, and my first reaction was , 'hang on, who says Jamie is still going to be in the DC team come later this year?'. I suspect Jamie feels his powers are waning and is why he is kind of grasping at things at the moment.

Wimbledon doubles will be very interesting for the Brit men this year.

He was great earlier in his singles win against Raonic as well. Back in the top 100 again.

Play suspended - to cause a bit more of a headache for the schedulers tomorrow given Feli's singles and potentially 2nd doubles.
