Entry list here. The cast includes Jay Clarke & Dino. Curiously, the top seed on the basis of that list will be one of the bad boys of Aussie tennis, Bernard Tomic (current ranking 84, but 82 on 20th May, when it would appear that players were first accepted into the main draw), while Dan Evans (currently N° 80 - anyone know where he was ranked on 20th May?) , a finalist last year, has to rely on a wild card.
People at Surbiton said Dan forgot to enter. So that's why he needed a wildcard. Not sure if it's true.....but they were pretty cross .....they said he'd have got in fine if he'd entered and it just took a wildcard from other brits.
The seedings though will be based on the current (27/05) rankings so Dan will be seeded ahead of Tomic.
I did wonder that, but thought the rankings in the entry list might be set in stone. In fact, I deleted a comment to that effect before I submitted the post! Shows you how much I know!

The entry list rankings order is set in stone to order who gets into the draw. The seedings though are based on the rankings from the Monday a week before the tournament start or 2 weeks in this case given no 03/06 rankings.

And for the men
"In the mens ATP Challenger, Liam Broady, Jack Draper, Evan Hoyt and Paul Jubb will be in Mondays first-round draw alongside fellow British players Dan Evans, Jay Clarke and James Ward."
Yes, it is a good list of entries for the mens. Field is weaker than this week in Surbiton . Presumably Dan will be a top rated seed, but Jay will be just outside the seeds? Nonetheless it would be good to see more than just Dan going on and doing well this week, would like someone to break out and maybe get to the last 16 or last 8.
Based on rankings that will apply ie at start of RG, Jay would probably have been 18th in the list with 16 seeds, so only just outside. BTW Indi, wouldnt the last updated rankings be 27th may and not 3rd June (there arent any 3rd June rankings are there as it was mid FO?)
