Other events - week 22

There's a big, G1 important U12 event at Agen this week.

Martin Weston is there. Judy Murray has been saying that is brings back memories - Andy and Jamie both played there. It's a lovely event.

Martin Weston Retweeted judy murray

And nothing has changed Jude! Beautifully simple & all about the kids. Love these weeks in France. Always very humbling the effort they go to to make it special!

And young Ben Gusic Wan got an impressive win yesterday against a young French prodigy, Yoshka Sborowsky. Sami Khediri is playing too. (There's reports on the two of them in the Other events - week 8 - for the Auray tournament. In fact, Ben beat Yosh in the final there)

And with further additions yes it's quite a 6 week spell for senior plus junior titles.

9, 7, 8, 5, 6, and I make it 6 so far this week including 5 junior titles.

U12 Ben Gusic Wan lost his final in Agen today in two tight sets.

Watch out for Shanice Roignot who won the girls very easily - a superbly impressive girl for her age (although, rather like Hephzibah, a strong, athletic girl for her age, which stands out, whereas the others might well catch up). However, a super player to watch.

Lovely picture of our two U12s, who won the doubles in Agen.

If you just want to look at the different heights lads can be at that age, this is the photo to make you smile.

(Sami is the taller (!) boy, Ben the shorter one).
