Just one q round but not the easiest draws for Graziella and Alisha to earn one of the 8 q places in the MD. Graziella especially, as she plays Margaux Orange, who has a former WTA ranking. This is the first time for me to see Ms Reayer, I must admit.
Alisha is at college now, at the Uni of Memphis. I've no idea how she's doing....
I saw her play twice back in 2016 and filed her in my 'decent-enough/reasonable' sort of player group. Which is pretty generic and covers quite a lot of players.
But she was tall and athletic. And had a decent-ish technique. And may well have improved with all the college help, as well as just growing into her game.
