Joe & Rajeev play their QF on Tuesday. 2 QFs have been played today and the SFist pair lying in wait is (3) Cabal & Farah.

The SFist pair now known in the bottom half is Pella & Schwartzman.

Amazing

I hope Chardy wins, he is an honorary Brit living in Chiswick or some such, good luck to all 4 of them though!

Loved the men's doubles today.

Loved the fact there were two Germans, who were unseeded, had never played Roland Garros before, against a local duo who were also unseeded and who'd played together when they were 8 years old. The Germans were brilliant, but the French made them work for it in the second set.

#RG19 champions @KrawietzKevin and @AndreasMies become the 1st All-German team to win a Grand Slam doubles title, defeating @JimChardy/@FabMartin86 6-3 7-6(3). They are also 1st Germans -- together or apart - to win @RolandGarros men's doubles title.

And seemingly, the Germans' success, and being financially in a position to achieve that success, was very much down to Wimbledon last year:

"You want to make that step from going from Challengers to ATP Tour level," said Mies "That was our goal when we started last year. It's crazy that we made it that quick in that short period of time... The crucial moment was Wimbledon last year where we used the chance of qualifying and we went to the third round."

I missed this completely, well done to the german pair!

Chardy and Martin go again in Netherlands this week , facing Daniel and Koolhoff first round, a big match for an ATP 250 round one.
