I wonder were this leaves Ken. Assuming Neal and Jamie is a permanent pairing. If Andy is planning on playing doubles during the grass season could we see him pair up with Ken.

Ken seems more or less like a part timer? Just my impression but Neal has been in several tournaments either due to ranking or otherwise without Ken.

Sad way to finish their partnership. Onwards

 It's due to ranking.

I see dom is playing with krajicek next tournie after Klizan this week. I wondered if he and Ken may give it a go in the remaining grass events. I read some comments on MTF that dismissed dom as effectively a big server with no return who bottles it. Harsh I feel and on grass he can play pretty well as can Ken.

Yes I know. But why is down to ranking - is it because Ken seems to play less than Neal? We have seen Neal partner Kyle - why is that and nobody seems to partner Ken in those instances?

Kyle's wife had a baby, second I think ,recently and so he rightly took time off a good few months back If i recall. Neal clearly needed to keep on playing, did well and got his ranking above Ken  it hit the point where jointly neal couldn't get into events with Ken, but with Kyle and one or two others he could. Ken with other priorities at home , he is older of course, and a lower ranking couldn't get in. Neal carried on doing well and is now , what, 20 places higher than Ken. I suspect Ken has reached age and family situation where he and neal have talked and hes told little brother to give it a go, playing with Jamie will get him into masters events hed otherwise struggle to get into, plus they could form a new DC combo.

I'm guessing Ken wont retire but probably semi retire and fo d a new partner   probably got someone in mind, hence my comment on dom.

The seeds have fallen like flies today, with Klaasen & Venus (6), González & Zeballos (9), Dodig & ERV (12), Maclachlan & Struff (15) & Krajicek & Sitak (16) following Jamie & Bruno out of the exit door!

For what it's worth, Dom's interim new partner, Klizan, came from two sets down to beat Kuku in five in the singles, so he should have his eye in...
