Would there joint singles ranking be high enough for the French Open?

Guess Dan & Cam could be a doubles DC pair. Neither play that much doubles.

Even stranger is Dan hasnt made the singles draw. He was 91 at entry and the last Direct Entry was 83. Dont think he put himself down for qualifying. Cant think of a time Dan has played an event but only played doubles.

Cam and Evo have withdrawn, with the drawsheet citing hip pain for Cam.

That cannot be a good omen for his singles match

L16:  (4) Luke Bambridge & Jonny O'Mara CR 90 (43+47) defeated Mikhail Kukushkin & Joran Vliegen (KAZ/BEL) UNR (0+86) by 6-4 3-6 [10-6]

They were behind for most of the early part of the MTB, so good recovery.

The Brit doubles players are no longer in Lyon in force!  Klizan's been replaced by a lucky loser, Lloyd Harris, in the singles & has therefore, perhaps unsurprisingly, also pulled out of the doubles:

L16:  (3) Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski CR 76 (49+27) vs (ALT) Romain Arneodo & Hugo Nys (MON/MON) CR 195 (93+102)

*****

QF:  (3) Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski CR 76 (49+27) vs Matwé Middelkoop & Tim Pütz (NED/GER) CR 104 (41+63)
