After the big finish last season from some of the younger players with Mchugh and Draper winning tournaments it seems it has been a slower start to this year apart from Evan Hoyt who is a tad older.
I wonder whether it is just the adjustment to the grind of the tour that has caused this or it is the classic case of not all good juniors make it.
Has the start of the year changed anyones opinions on the younger guys and who might make it? For me I worry about the size of Mchugh and whether hes a bit small as he progresses to high level tournaments. In terms of positives I think i most interested in Paul Jubb as hes doing very well in the US college and that seems to be a good foundation for success

At 5'10", Aidan McHugh is an inch taller than Michael Chang & he reached N° 2 in the world...
And a fair bit slighter than Chang (although that might change).
And Chang was a different generation.
So, although I've always been a fan of Aidan's ball skills, I'm also rather sceptical about his chances, partly for that reason.
Obviously Jack's injury, and George's possible injury - or at least his unexplained absence -, have been a problem for male youngster tennis in the UK in the last 6 months.
Think it's a bit early to draw meaningful conclusions, M_Turner.
(Although Paul Jubb is certainly a very interesting prospect and one I'd been twittering on about for a while, especially given his story).
But, yes, in the boys, the 2001 cohort was our 'pride of the bunch' and there's certainly not a lot going on with them, or any other cohort really. :(
But I certainly haven't changed opinion long term about anyone, yet.
Saw Jack Draper playing in Glasgow in February he is a cut above the rest -big serve and I got the impression he really has desire to win.
Loffhagen I saw too seema a nice kid but no big weapons on the day I saw
Aidan I have seen a few times in Scotland I would say he has the ball skills more talented than Loffhagen but he has stalled playing on the circuit this year.
Good juniors don't necessarily progress eg Miles Kasiri David Brewer and even Oli Golding
At 5ft 10 McHugh is therefore 1 inch taller than Dan Evans and David Ferrer, 3 inches taller than Schwartzman and the same height as Nishikori. He's 19 in July, so plenty of time to fill out further still.
