Real shame the Harriet v Cori match is not being streamed.

I've watched Cori play several times, as mentioned, and she is an amazing sight to behold, for her age or even not for her age.

And obviously likes clay (having won the RG juniors), although then went on to win the G1 event on grass in Roehampton only a couple of weeks later......

So, c'mon, Harriet, show that youngster her time has not quite come yet.....

Guaff served for the match, but Harriet broke, helped by DFs and one on BP. 5-7 *4-5

Gauff has had 15 DFs thus far and I remember her having a crazy number against Hev last year as well.

Harriet was broken serving to stay in the set at *5-6 in both sets. Gauff is good, but she's only 15. Dare I say it, a bit disappointing from Harriet's perspective.

Yes bit disappointing but I think it was correctly judged that it looked from the off a probably close match-up.

Non direct Brit related, but I see Martincova beat Gauff in the next round. It was 6-0 4-6 5-2 *30-30 when it was suspended last night, which would be annoying, but Martincova came back and duly won the next 2 points to take the match. Be interesting to see when she plays her semi final.
